What happens
Joan Darby, newly married to Tony, is on her honeymoon at a remote cottage called the Enchanted Cottage. Two strangers, Mrs. Ellen Remarten and a clergyman named Lawrence Norwell, arrive to warn Joan that her husband is planning to murder her. Joan is shaken and frightened, and her marriage begins to unravel as suspicion grows between the couple. Tony, meanwhile, tries to calm her fears and reassure her of his love. The mood darkens as Joan's distrust deepens and the cottage's eerie legend is told. This is an episode of the radio series Inner Sanctum Mysteries, first broadcast on September 19, 1949.
