What happens
Ward Deltom, a university instructor, joins his colleague John Rockwood and Grace on an expedition to explore a newly opened cave near Dry Ridge. Ward has long harbored feelings for Grace, and the trip brings his resentment to the surface. Inside the cave, the group encounters difficult conditions and tension between the men. The transcript covers only the early part of the story, so the full events and outcome are not included in this guide.
