What happens

Britt Reid, publisher of the Daily Sentinel, and his secretary Mike Axford learn that a statue by the French sculptor Rodin is to be exhibited at the city museum after being kept hidden during the war. Curator Mr. Jackson and the French representative Jules Francois oversee the statue's transfer from the estate of art collector Ralph Berry. When the packing case is opened at the museum, it does not hold the statue but the body of Ralph Berry, and the police begin questioning everyone who was at the estate that night. Britt and his valet Kato then search Berry's private museum for the missing statue.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
