What happens
Britt Reid, publisher and secret crime fighter, looks into racketeer Kyle Maroney, who is arrested for shooting a shopkeeper named Jensen. Maroney's clever lawyer, Sturgis, insists his client has an alibi and witnesses, while Jensen insists the time he saw Maroney was wrong. The Green Hornet takes an interest, and the investigation turns on a clock and on whether Jensen's identification can be trusted. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
