Publisher Britt Reid of the Daily Sentinel receives a letter from a woman named Helene, addressed to the Green Hornet, asking him to contact her. His secretary Lenore Case has delivered it, and his valet Kato is with him. The police set a trap using the note to draw out the Hornet, and Britt is invited to watch. Britt works out a phone number hidden in the name, calls Helene, and plans a visit to her apartment. The episode is part of The Green Hornet radio series, first broadcast on June 21, 1945.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
