What happens
Daily Sentinel publisher Britt Reid assigns reporter Ed Lowry to write a series of articles about the Valley Drug Company in West Farmington, which makes miracle drugs and antibiotics for the public and for Korea. Lowry and photographer Clicker Benny visit the plant, where Glenn Damon has just joined the public relations staff. That night a shipment of penicillin and streptomycin is hijacked on the Valley Road by a gang led by racketeer Buck Grove, who is shot dead during the robbery. Lowry and Benny find the wrecked truck and wounded men at the scene. The Green Hornet, Britt Reid's masked alter ego, then pursues the trail toward the gang and the foreign agent Mark Luzerne.
The city and West Farmington, a town 300 miles away, with the Valley Drug Company plant, the Valley Road, a Chinese restaurant and a warehouse.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
