What happens

Britt Reid, a young newspaper publisher, and his valet Kato look into the killing of Boots Lanagan, a small-time gangster who was shot in a Detroit drugstore after telephoning the Daily Sentinel with a tip about a girl named Marianna. Reid's inquiries lead him to the waterfront, where a ship called the Marianna is being salvaged. Dutch Fogle, a former waterfront gang leader, is implicated, and Reid and Kato, masked as the Green Hornet, begin to suspect that a sabotage plot is taking shape against the ship. The episode is part of The Green Hornet radio series, which aired on November 28, 1942.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
