What happens
Britt Reid, publisher of the Daily Sentinel, and his valet Kato investigate a concrete failure at a reservoir that has flooded the valley. Engineer Laura Craig suspects the concrete was deliberately weakened, and a man named Salinas is seen acting suspiciously near the site. Senator Stanley hears from Public, a construction judge, that the settlement may not have been the cause. The Green Hornet, masked crime fighter from The Green Hornet radio series, begins his own watch over the reservoir, while Reid's newspaper receives strong public reaction to the story. The episode broadcast on February 7, 1942.

Listen for: The reasons behind the concrete failure at the reservoir and who is involved in the sabotage.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
