What happens
Britt Reid, the publisher who secretly fights crime as the Green Hornet, investigates the theft of blueprints for Channing Products' X process. Amos Jones, the company's president's aide, reports that he has received a threatening call from someone posing as the Green Hornet, who knew about Jones's old prison record. After the blueprints vanish from the office safe, Britt and his secretary Lenore Case look into the case and identify William Elliot as someone who had Jones investigated. Britt and his valet Kato then follow Elliot's visitors to a Hossmer Street house, where the story continues.
A city in the United States in the late 1940s, including a suburban home, the Channing Products office, Elliot's waterfront house in Westport, and a downtown brownstone.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
