Newspaper reporter Dale Manning interviews Lolly Robinson, a woman jailed for the murder of William Stockman, who was shot after phoning police about a racket. Manning presses her with questions while Robinson insists on her own version of events. Meanwhile Rick Reed and his valet Kato, operating as the Green Hornet, go to Robinson's apartment to search it. Inside they find signs that a picture frame was removed from the sitting table, and a struggle with a policeman follows. The episode is part of The Green Hornet radio series, first broadcast on September 19, 1942.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
