What happens
Fibber McGee and Molly return home from a summer trip with a stack of snapshots, only for Fibber to realize he left the camera on the train. Molly is unimpressed and suggests he simply buy a new one, but Fibber is determined to get it back. Their attempts to recover it take them to the railroad's lost and found office, where the clerk is no help. Along the way, the couple cross paths with a series of neighbors and acquaintances who all have stories of their own summers. The series, first broadcast on NBC Radio on September 29, 1942, stars Harold Peary, Bill Thompson, Gale Gordon and Arthur Q. Bryan.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
