Fibber McGee is overjoyed that seven years of bad luck, which he attributes to breaking a mirror on October 19, 1936, are finally over, and he celebrates with his wife Molly. Their happiness is short-lived when Molly asks him to carry the mirror across town to be resilvered. The episode is a 1943 broadcast of the Fibber McGee and Molly series, which aired on NBC Radio, with Harold Peary, Bill Thompson, Gale Gordon and Arthur Q. Bryan in the lead roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
