What happens
Jim Anderson surprises his wife Margaret by coming home early from the office with flowers, intending a short trip to Indian Springs just the two of them. The family's plans for the evening complicate things: Betty has a date, Kathy wants to go to the movies, and Bud is busy with a motor scooter in the kitchen. Jim and Margaret ask the children whether they can set their plans aside for one night. This episode of the series Father Knows Best first aired on March 5, 1953, starring Robert Young as Jim Anderson.
