What happens
Fisherman Jack O'Cool's guest, an English angler, travels to the bleak moors of County Mayo in Ireland to fish. Despite warnings from the locals, he sets out for the lonely Dark Moor and meets Benchalina, a gypsy woman who tends his injured leg at her caravan. She tells him she is to be wed to Charon, the feared head of her tribe, and the two flee together across the moor toward the sea. The Escape series presents this story with John Dana as the author, starring Vic Perrin, though the original air date is not given in the transcript.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
