What happens
Lieutenant Brady, a former naval flier, is brought to a doctor's office after being found drifting in a life raft, and he tells a fantastic story. Years earlier, his bomber crew came down on an unknown Pacific island, where a Dr. Grove welcomed them and led them underground. Brady describes an underground city of people who claim to be a superior next stage of human evolution, who step through walls and paralyze visitors with a beam of light. The doctor listens to him with clinical suspicion. Escape is a radio drama series, and this episode, Conquerors Isle, was broadcast on January 11, 1953, starring Harry Bartell.
