What happens
Marie Legrand, the daughter of a Louisiana bayou shrimp fisherman, grows close to a quiet stranger named Zeb, and this draws the suspicion of the villagers. After a baby in the village dies and a missing animal is linked to his arrival, the people begin to call Zeb an evil spirit, the Lou Garou. Her father Pierre and the community turn against him, while Brother Coxie warns Zeb that trouble is brewing. Marie is torn between her loyalty to her father and her feelings for Zeb as the village gathers for a meeting to decide his fate. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
