What happens
Anthony Ross is a doctor aboard the ship Martina when he is called to a schooner in the Caribbean with an injured man aboard. The schooner, the Sidon, is owned by Felix O'Rouge, and the patient is a wealthy man named Joseph, who the crew claims was hurt by a Marlin spike. Ross suspects the story is false, and the course of the vessel soon points away from Havana. Escape is a radio adventure series, and this episode aired on January 17, 1950. The episode is part of the Escape series, with the cast credited as John and Gwen Bagney.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
