Bradell becomes curious about a cabin that will not open, while passenger Marily follows him and presses him with unsettling remarks. Escape is a half-hour radio anthology series, and this episode aired on August 22, 1948. Its adaptation is credited to Les Crutchfield from a story by James Gould Cousins, with John Dehner and Charlotte Lawrence among the cast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
