What happens
In the Carpathian Mountains of Eastern Hungary, the English couple Richard and Kira Vaughn host Sharabiev, a Slavic-born visitor, at their home in the village of Swiberg. When two men vanish in the forest, the villagers blame a werewolf, and a search party is organized after a grocer is reported missing. Vaughn and Sharabiev find evidence of violence near a white rock and decide to set a trap, using one of them as bait while the other watches from above with a rifle. Tension builds as the village grows fearful and suspicion falls on the people closest to them.
