What happens
In nineteenth-century London, Mr. Godol and Major Alfred Hammersmith, two ruined gentlemen, accept an offer from a young man with a tray of cream tarts. The episode first aired on November 12, 1947, and Paul Fries plays Prince Florizel. Bill Johnstone plays Colonel Geraldine, and Barton Yarborough plays the young man.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
