What happens
Archie, the manager of Duffy's Tavern, arranges a fancy coming-out party for Miss Duffy at the tavern. Before the guests arrive, Archie phones an escort service and is sent a self-proclaimed Russian prince, who Miss Duffy takes an immediate liking to. Ed Gardner stars as Archie in this 1947 episode of Duffy's Tavern, which aired on CBS, NBC Blue and NBC, with Shirley Booth and Florence Halop in the cast. The party starts with Archie playing host to a crowd of tavern regulars and society guests, while the prince performs his own act for Miss Duffy.
