What happens
Archie the bartender at Duffy's Tavern becomes convinced he can use hypnotism to win over Renee, a French girl who seems to be drifting away from him. He buys a book on the subject and tries it on himself, Trixie, and finally Renee. Things go awry when Renee's real feelings and a jeweler's broken promise come into the story. This Duffy's Tavern episode is part of the OTRR Duffy's Tavern Singles collection, first broadcast on March 9, 1951, with Ed Gardner, Shirley Booth, Charlie Cantor and Florence Halop in the lead roles.
