What happens

Doctor Charles Terhune, a scientist, shows his friends Doctor West and Doctor Smith a film of a world existing within a moonbeam. He plans to shrink himself with a radium capsule and enter that world. Shrinking successfully, Terhune meets Princess Elena, daughter of King Landelaire, who explains that her people are dying of a plague their doctors cannot treat. Terhune offers his medical knowledge. This Dark Fantasy episode, broadcast on the National Broadcasting Company in 1941, is written by Scott Bishop, with Ben Morris as Terhune and Eleanor Naylor Corrin as Princess Elena.

A laboratory in the present day, and a world existing within a moonbeam, with red grass, orange streams and a deep blue sun

Characters: Doctor Charles Terhune, Doctor West, Doctor Smith, Princess Elena, King Landelaire

Listen for: The moment Terhune shrinks and enters the moonbeam world, and his first meeting with Princess Elena

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
