What happens

Stuntman Slim Talbot takes on a dangerous cliff stunt for a Hollywood production, as director Mr. Hollingsworth and his assistant Bob arrange for a horse and rider to back off a 152-foot drop, held by piano wire. The stunt is completed with a quick escape, and the story then turns to a earlier incident from 1933, when Talbot doubled for Slim Somerville in a Universal picture and was required to jump into a lake wearing a heavy suit of armor. The broadcast is an interview in which Talbot describes his work as a stuntman, his background as a rodeo performer, and the risks of the profession. The program is presented as a dramatization of his actual experiences, with Dren Hardy conducting the interview.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
