What happens
The Comic Weekly Man, a jolly radio host, reads the funnies from Puck the Comic Weekly to his young listeners after Thanksgiving. He chats with a little girl named Missani about feeling lazy, then reads Beetle Bailey, where Beetle misreads a compass problem sheet and wanders across the base. Next comes Prince Valiant, in which Val and his companions sail on the town of Kallopk to punish three men who abducted a prince. Flash Gordon follows, with Flash and Queen Vicki caught in a Venusian storm and attacked by a giant beetle. Other strips include Dick's Adventures, Rusty Riley, Dagwood and Blondie, Robin Hood, and Roy Rogers, each read to a cliffhanger.

Listen for: The host reads each comic strip aloud, with dramatic music cues, as the listeners follow along.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
