What happens

George Burns and Gracie Allen are at the theater and back home, where Gracie's behaviour and odd answers worry George and their friends. Gracie claims to have bought a car for gasoline, meets a man named Skippy at the Coconut Grove, and is baffled when her odd remarks confuse everyone. George calls in a sound man who claims Harvard training, and a professor is summoned to examine Gracie. The episode is part of the Burns and Allen radio series, first broadcast on October 14, 1940, on CBS and NBC, with Gracie Allen and Bea Benaderet among the cast. Many scenes are built around Spam commercials and George's complaints about not mentioning the sponsor.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
