What happens

George Burns and Gracie Allen star as a married couple trying to get life insurance, with George's blood pressure standing in the way after two earlier rejections. Gracie fusses over the household, their maid Hilda, and a planned visit from a new doctor, while George grows increasingly tense. Neighbors, a deliveryman, and a visiting army company add to the commotion as the day builds toward the examination. The episode, from the Burns and Allen series, was originally broadcast on October 21, 1941, on CBS and NBC Radio.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
