What happens

George Burns and Gracie Allen arrive in New York City with their pet duck Herman and check into a crowded hotel. Gracie hatches a scheme with their neighbour, the actress Madeline Carol, to make George jealous and distract him. The episode is from the Burns and Allen radio series, first broadcast on March 2, 1943, on CBS and NBC Radio, with Gracie Allen, Bea Benaderet, Meredith Willson and Mel Blanc among the cast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
