What happens
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello host their program with guest Frank Sinatra, and the two comics trade jokes about the singer's looks, his fans and his New Jersey roots. Costello insists he has more appeal to women than Sinatra and argues with the nurse who checks the visitors. A fan club president arrives with a telegram from Hasbrouck Heights, and Sinatra himself comes in to meet the hosts. The three of them go back and forth about schooldays and home-state friends before Sinatra sings a song for the audience. The episode is part of the Abbott and Costello series and was broadcast on March 1, 1945, on NBC and ABC.

Listen for: Costello's jokes about Sinatra's looks, the fan club's telegram from Hasbrouck Heights, and Sinatra's song.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
