What happens
Captain Dylan and Lieutenant Bossio, two officers of the United Earth Defense Command, are sent to evacuate the rim colonies after alien attacks have destroyed settlements. On the colony of Nordj 1, Dylan discovers that a buried detonator wire has been cut and repaired, suggesting that someone or something is working against the humans. Bossio has not answered his radio calls. Dylan waits with the colonists through a snowy day, uneasily aware of the threat in the surrounding woods. The episode is part of the X Minus One radio series, first broadcast on October 17, 1956.
