What happens
Dr. James Hammond and his wife Mary live in an isolated mountain cabin in the Snoqualmie range. When a landslide closes the highway, Paul Evans, his wife Jane, and her frail mother Mrs. Whitcomb seek shelter at the house, where Mary Harris refuses to let the doctor tend the injured woman. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
