What happens
Carl Fabian, a wealthy businessman with ties to the Latimer Construction Company, confronts Harry Evans, a foreman who plans to speak to a crime commission about the company. Their tense meeting on an unfinished bridge ends with Evans falling from the railing, and Fabian is left to hope no one saw what happened. The story comes from The Whistler, a radio mystery series, and this episode originally aired on December 30, 1951. Fabian appears socially confident in the days that follow, but his partner Joe Latimer grows nervous, and a night watchman who witnessed the fall begins to threaten Fabian's comfortable position.
A modern city in the early 1950s, including an unfinished bridge on the city's outskirts, a fashionable penthouse apartment, and a judge's home.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
