What happens

Ted Stratton wakes up on a foggy highway near Marin County with no memory of how he got there, after a bitter argument with Larry Craig at a party hosted by Norma. Ted remembers only his anger and a vow that he could kill Larry. He finds Larry's car, a convertible, and soon realizes he is tangled in a dangerous mess of blood, a missing man, and police searching the area. As he tries to piece together what happened, the police close in and he must decide how to explain the car and his condition. The story is part of the Whistler series, with its episode presented as a Kaleidoscope installment on Armed Forces Radio.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
