What happens
Tarzan and the Gregory expedition make their first camp in the jungle. Brian Gregory's party is searching for the Forbidden Sea of Arshar, and a map showing its location is at the center of the expedition. Tom and his confederate Lal Kask seem to want the map, and a guide named Wolf is also tied to the scheme. When a native bearer runs amok at the campfire, Tarzan subdues him with his bare hands and then climbs into the trees. Dan Gregory suffers a heart attack during the commotion, and Helen and Margaret attend to him. Later, Margaret wanders from the camp, and Tarzan follows her, overhearing a tense exchange between Magra and Wolf.
