What happens

Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle, is persuaded by the Manobu sorceress Nadenga that the white engineers building a railroad through the jungle must be driven out. Led by Tarzan, the Manobu warriors wreck the camp of Charles Halliday, whose railroad is his life savings and an investment in Africa's future. Captain Lawrence of the government police comes to investigate the attack, and Tarzan, having been manipulated, begins to doubt his own role. This episode is part of the Tarzan radio series, transcribed from Edgar Rice Burroughs' stories, and its original air date was August 23, 1951.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
