What happens

Tarzan meets Nogoo, a young African boy who has traveled many moons to learn Tarzan's medicine, and later two white men, Dr. Cunningham and Garvey, arrive exhausted in the jungle. Tarzan reluctantly agrees to help them when they explain they are hunting the cobra, which the natives call the hooded death, for Dr. Cunningham's research into a cure for cancer. Their journey leads them toward the mountain country of Nagomba, where they must face the snake men known as the Wakayoka, who are said to guard the snakes and fear the white men's power. The story follows their dangerous search through the tangled jungle and the snake men's territory.

The African jungle, including Tarzan's seacoast cabin and the mountain country of Nagomba.

Characters: Tarzan, Nogoo, Dr. Cunningham, Garvey, Kokoro

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
