What happens

In the French African port of Loango, Tarzan and Dorno join the Gregory expedition, organised to search for the missing archaeologist Brian Gregory. Mr Gregory and his daughter Helen are travelling aboard a river steamer up the Congo toward Bonga, where the jungle trek is to begin. A woman named Margaret asks to join the party, saying she knew Brian, and Tarzan agrees. Meanwhile Wolf, one of the hunters, is drawn into a scheme to secure a map that Tarzan is believed to hold, showing the way to a forbidden city. Suspicion grows among the travellers as the steamer continues upriver.

Characters: Tarzan, Dorno, Mr. Gregory, Helen Gregory, Margaret, Wolf, Tom, Larsen

Listen for: Wolf's conversation with Larsen about a treasure map, and the sound of a discovery in the cabin at the end

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
