What happens

Tarzan fights two men from a ship on a beach, and the struggle carries him into the jungle after the men who took a green jade bottle. The two men are Captain Tracy and the giant Chinaman Fango, and the bottle is needed to save Jane Clayton and Professor Porter, who are held aboard a tramp steamer in the harbor. Tarzan wrestles with Fango in a tree-lined clearing and is wounded by a thrown knife, which he removes and treats with leaves. Meanwhile, on the ship, Jane Porter, her father and William Clayton break out of a locked salon and move to hide below deck while the captain's men prepare to take the passengers ashore. The episode is part of the Tarzan radio series and was first broadcast on September 19, 1932.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
