What happens

Tarzan, the jungle lord, learns that a secret project called TSEM-1 is being built at an isolated site near Kiabo Mountain, where animals are being tested with a deadly ray. The project is run by Albert Edward Philip Forbes Martin, whose young son Bertie has stowed away to Africa and fallen into his father's hands. Tarzan follows a safari of supply crates and watches the weapon kill an ape and a rhino. Captain Lawrence is ordered to hunt the jungle lord, while the boy is locked away and later rescued. The story, from the Tarzan series, is an adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs' work and was first broadcast on April 3, 1952.

The isolated base at Kiabo Mountain in the Congo, and the port city of Michadarin on the African coast.

Listen for: The eerie tests of the death ray on the animals, and Tarzan's race through the jungle to save the boy.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
