What happens
Tarzan and his companions are held captive by Queen Tira of the Hesahair after she broke her promise of freedom in exchange for the Father of Diamonds. Tarzan slips away from the tower chamber, silencing two guards who discover him while he guides Helen and Margaret down the stairs and out into the street. Tom and Darno, carrying the heavy diamond and its golden disc, pass through a hidden passage under the street and meet Hakeiru, who has promised to help them escape. Tom reveals a knowledge of the ancient language that surprises the old priest. Pursuit grows louder as the party races toward the Sunut car, and Darno delays the guards at the passage so his friends can reach the vehicle.
