What happens

Tarzan helps violinist Johann Vermeer and his wife Antoinette after their train is wrecked in the jungle near Kedano. Vermeer has been badly hurt, and Tarzan performs a difficult operation to free him from the wreckage. Tarzan then works with the pygmy king Kapoleme to repair a destroyed bridge so the train can cross and reach its destination. The episode is from the Tarzan radio series, based on the stories of Edgar Rice Burroughs, and was first broadcast on May 1, 1952. The story follows the group's efforts to survive the danger of the jungle and the tensions between the travelers and their guides.

The African jungle near Kedano, including a native pygmy village, a great hill above a destroyed bridge, and a wrecked railway train.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
