What happens
Tarzan, the jungle lord, has rescued the white party from cannibals, but their companion Clayton, delirious with fever, tries to shoot him, and Tarzan withdraws to his jungle home. Back among the apes, Tarzan defends his kingship against the challenger Tantor, facing him in a brutal struggle, and proves his strength. Meanwhile Clayton and Philander return from hunting to the cabin, where Jane has been tending her father, Professor Porter, who is recovering from fever. Tensions grow between Jane and Clayton over his insults toward Tarzan. The mutineers, who have secretly returned, invade the cabin, demanding the location of a hidden treasure from Jane and her father.
