What happens
Tarzan leads freed jewel pit slaves, joined by Oruk and Tailuk, in an advance on the Palace of Ataya. With the help of Black Malook and the royal elephant herd, he opens the city's main gates to Shah Uka's attacking Ratarians, who fight their way through the streets. Meanwhile, Dr. Wong Tsu and Jeanette Burton are led by Ataya's yellow-skinned guards through dim passageways toward the Hall of Panto, where they face sacrifice to the fires of Tor. Tarzan and O'Rourke push up the palace staircase toward the council chamber, searching for Jeanette before the sacrifice can take place.
