What happens

Jane Potter and Tarzan are in the trees above a cannibal village after Tarzan rescues Jane from a crocodile. Hearing native drums, Jane asks Tarzan to take her toward the temple cave where she believes her father and others have been taken. From above, they watch Professor Porter's party, who have been told that Tarzan and James are inside, make their way toward the cave behind the waterfall. The party argues over the danger they face, and Clayton questions the decisions made by Donald. Tarzan, Jane and the cannibals are all drawn into the events at the temple, which the recording follows as the party is trapped in the cave.

A jungle village of cannibals, with a temple cave behind a waterfall and the upper jungle terrace above it.

Characters: Tarzan, Jane Potter, Professor Porter, Clayton, Philander, Donald

Listen for: Jane's worried questions to Tarzan as they watch the cannibals and the party in the temple cave.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
