What happens
Johnny Schellen, a young pianist in debt to a bookmaker named Porco, schemes to get money from his blind aunt, Mita, in Chicago. He tells her he needs six thousand dollars to study with the teacher Arthur Rogowski in Paris, and he brings his girlfriend, Eve, back to the house to pose as a pianist he is engaged to. Aunt Mita is delighted to see him and pleased with his playing, but Johnny's plan becomes harder to keep up as Eve grows uneasy. Dr. Hannah visits, and the house's quiet routine begins to feel tense. This episode of Suspense, written by Walter Black, aired on April 10, 1960.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
