What happens

Mrs. Gillis hires a young man named Howard Wilton to help with heavy housework while her husband Mr. Armstrong is away on a business trip. Her housekeeper Sarah is uneasy about him, and Mrs. Gillis finds his behavior odd from the start, including his refusal to wear the offered apron and his fixation on his coat. Their relationship grows tense as he begins to watch her closely and speaks of being spied upon. This episode of Suspense, from January 18, 1945, stars Frank Sinatra and Agnes Moorehead.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
