What happens

Joe Jordan, a bitter factory worker at Acme Engineering, resents his foreman Charlie Harris, who constantly rides him over his work and his habits. Joe grows obsessed with Harriet Slate, a stenographer whom Charlie is dating. Joe begins plotting to kill Harriet and pin the crime on Charlie, spreading rumors among his co-workers to build a motive. The story is told by Joe himself, in the first person, as he describes his scheme. Dane Clark plays the lead in this episode of Suspense, a 1945 radio broadcast sponsored by Romo Wines.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
