Peyton then confronts Rawls at his home and insists on settling the matter with pistols. The episode is part of the CBS radio series Suspense; the transcript supplied no original air date or cast beyond the lead actor.

Listen for: Peyton's insistence on the duel despite his friends' pleading, and the tension of the back-to-back count at dawn

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
