What happens

Iris Lane, Harold Mills, Dr. Woodhall and Ben Van Halten are gathered at the home of Mr. Seton, a collector who has just acquired a huge diamond. Seton is struck down in his study, and the diamond disappears. The only door was watched and the windows were locked from the inside, so it seems no one could have entered or escaped. Captain Hadley arrives to investigate, and each suspect offers a theory while the four are kept in the house. The episode is part of the Suspense radio series, broadcast in 1944 with Virginia Bruce, Alan Jocelyn and George Zuko starring.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
