What happens
Andy, a restless young man who spends his days drawing and walking the streets, takes a temporary job minding the dry goods store of Mr. Boyajan while Boyajan's wife is in hospital. Andy's sister Mary Lee worries about him and wants him to find steady work. Boyajan, a kindly man, speaks warmly of his wife's illness and the cost of her care. Andy begins to plan a fire in the store, drawn to the colour and beauty of flames, and he gets hold of the key he needs. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
